8kut frequency cutter effect plug-in updated to 2.1

We updated our free 8-band frequency cutter effect plug-in 8kut to version 2.1. 8kut 2 cut frequencies with the 8 pads, from bass to mids range, high mids and treble, and is designed with Djs and live performance in mind.

This new version brings numerous optimizations, improving the performance, brings refinement to the user interface and solve a frequency bug on some sample rates.


Changes in 8kut 2.1:

  • BUG Cut frequencies was incorrect at some sample rate, solved.
  • Numerous optimizations, reduced CPU by 3.
  • UI Add new help/info icons.
  • UI Add info and help pop­up menu.
  • UI Improved preset zone design.
  • UI About screen updated.
  • MANUAL Add changelog.
  • MANUAL Other improvements.
  • SETUP Numerous improvements.

8kut is available to download fror free as a VST/VST3/AU plug-in for Windows and Mac OS X in 32/64-bit.

    Yes we have considered it. Actually 8Kut Pro is in development and this will be our next release.

  • I love 8-Kut, many thanks for releasing it as freeware too!

    Have you considered adding the ability to change which frequency each pad is kutting? That would be super cool, very useful and something I would very likely pay for (8-kut pro?)
